This morning we received guidance from The American Legion National Commander\, James Oxford\, that underscored how the legion should respond and cooperate with public health in helping to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus that threatens primarily people over 60. Given the continued rise in identified cases and the belief that there are a great number of cases that are not being counted we are looking at all of our options. Tonight there will be an emergency meeting of the leaders of the Legion family to determine how we are going to maintain our mission\, assisting and supporting our veterans\, while also protecting our members\, our customers\, and our friends. \nIn the meantime we are cancelling the following events: \n*Wing Night on Friday 3/13/2020\n*The Country Breakfast on Saturday 3/14/2020 \nWe are evaluating BINGO and other operations tonight and further updates will be provided. We take our responsibility to our community seriously and we can assure you that everything we do is in keeping with our continued ability to serve.
