Membership Requirements

The membership requirements for the American Legion Riders are very straightforward. To become a member, you must:

• be a current member in good standing of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion
• be the registered owner or spouse of the owner for a street legal motorcycle (2 wheeled or 3 wheeled) (or child/grandchild under 18 of a current Rider member)
• Must have current motorcycle insurance, drivers license with motorcycle endorsement (or learner’s permit not to exceed 1 year) & obey traffic laws
• Pay dues, complete membership application and provide proof of license endorsement, registration and insurance
